To celebrate Columbus Day, we went to Apple Hills for some autumn apple pickin'! This is one of our favorite places to go, as during the year, they have blueberries, raspberries, apples, hayrides, goats, donkeys, a cafe and market. Although it was 38 degrees and windy today, we braved the weather (the trees and foliage were gorgeous, so that made up for it ) and loaded up 3 grocery bags full of different varieties. There were lots of other people outside with kids and grandparents, and even a random dog kept finding us and bringing us his ball to throw down the long rows of trees. We all ate an apple and enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. This afternoon, there will be an apple pie, applesauce and apple slices. Mollyariotti says we should get some Nutella for the apples. Apparently, Nutella goes with everything, so we'll soon see!
Getting things off to a good start by picking the apple we'll each eat while we pick more apples to take home
Dave, the cleverly trained apple spy, making sure the coast is clear to take another bite. Wait is that Samuel L. Jackson on the next row??

Okay, I think this is enough of the all-American family routine. Seriously, you cannot love each other as you all seem to! (Actually, I *know* that you all do and that is what makes you such a special family!)
Can you send me some apple pie? Does G-chat have a special function for teleportation?
I love your photos! Everyone seems to be having such fun!
