Potter's photos from our trip to North Carolina

(Potter took all of these photos on his own digital camera and came up with all of the captions himself. I just helped him load these on the blog. Enjoy!)

Mommy and Molly in North Carolina

All together!

The best family in the world!

The baby goats are so cute!

The perfect day.

Molly with the donkey.

Birds, birds everywhere. The pinecone feeder hanging off the suet on the far left is one that Mommy and I made at Granny's house.

Kids on Easter morning.

Aren't they just the best looking kids you have ever seen?

Granny with her bunnies!!

Surprise, the bunny hid eggs OUTSIDE too!!

Molly found an egg in the planter on the porch.

Score for Caleb again, he found an egg on the porch too.

The egg hunters are racing around the house, trying to find more goodies.

Easter treats

The Easter Bunny brought lots of treats and remembered that we were in North Carolina at Granny and Granddad's house!! Yea!!!

Potter finds the first egg of the season!!

The bunny left an egg in Molly's shoe.

We were all impressed that Caleb managed to find an egg all by himself. Of course it was right next to the phone which is his favorite thing!!

Caleb and his egg.....

Caleb is intrigued by the hard boiled egg. He can't figure out how to get it open!

Aha, he has cracked (tee hee) the case and gotten to the center of things.

Finally, he has penetrated the egg!! We tried to get him to eat some of it, but he would have no part of it. This despite the fact that scrambled eggs are one of his favorite foods.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

Setting up for dyeing the eggs. Everyone getting in on the action.

Into high gear.

Molly helping me pull one of the finished eggs out.

Caleb gets some Granny help with his egg.

Being outside is a great thing after a long winter.

Caleb loved playing chase outside. The weather was so nice down there, sunny and 60 - perfect! He was interested in the leaves and sticks more than looking at the cows.

Dave and Molly have a moment while cow tipping, I mean watching.

Feeding the goats

Caleb feeds the goats. He was pretty good about this, although there were a couple times he didn't really let go soon enough for me. I thought he might lose a finger.

This was another day of feeding. He was better about it, but that donkey has much bigger teeth than the goats do!! And we had to keep from touching the electric fences where ever we went.

Molly *loved* feeding the goats. I think they must have consumed about 10 pounds of carrots that day.

Potter alternated between feeding and taking camera pics of the goats. There were 5 babies there.

Caleb has a friend over

Caleb got to have his own playdate today. They were all over the house. This is the next closest thing to having twins!

Laurie and Caleb discuss the best way to vacuum up the dog hair in the dining room.

Laurie is fascinated by looking at herself in the mirror. The next supermodel???

Past weekend events

This weekend had a lot of cute stuff with the kids.

Caleb has finally learned how to stack some blocks up on his own. Since this was his first successful venture, I thought I'd share his feat and also the intent look on his face!

Caleb loves to wear the chef hat and apron. He finally keeps it on long enough to get a good photo. Now he'll run around the basement like this (sans hat usually) for a good 20 minutes or so.

Molly and Dave had a moment.

It is hard to get all the kids to sit still for a picture, but we did it!!
