Potter and Molly built a really cool snowman at 7:30 this morning after we had a decent snow. Unfortunately, he fell down soon afterwards!

Caleb at 16 months

This will have to do for Caleb at 16 months. We didn't take the blue chair picture this month. Slackers!! We'll be better in coming months.......

Potter's piano recital 2-10-08.

Potter's first public debut on the piano was a total success!! He did his piece perfectly and in front of what had to be a crowd of at least 100, that is a combination of other students, parents, and residents at the Hilltop Retirement Community, where the event was held. We are extremely proud of him! There are a couple photos here, and I hope to figure out how to rotate the movie I took of him and then post that too, so check back in case I am successful with that!!

The cat was desperate for a drink and didn't mind being in close proximity to the stinky, drooling, goofy dog.

Kate and Rob came to visit from NYC....we had such a great time playing legos and coloring!

Germs, germs, germs

Our house is filled with the little buggers. Caleb, having just gotten over (sort of) an ear infection, has just been diagnosed with a sinus infection. Molly, who is never ill, was diagnosed today with an ear infection. The blog will be on hiatus for a few days while we recover.........

My boys!

Just a couple cute photos of my boys. Caleb dumped all his toys out of the basket so that he would fit...then he started gnawing on the basket. This was taken before he had that snack! And doesn't he look innocent?? The when Potter came home, Caleb started slathering him with kisses. Very affectionate that boy. I just love my two guys!!

Molly at the princess party

Molly went to her friend Annie's princess party and had a great time dressing up, making the princess wand and tiara, and dancing to the princess video. It was a world of pink and purple!! Here is Molly in her outfit and then photos of the party.

Recent hike in the nature preserve

We enjoyed a nice snowy hike at the University nature preserve. It wasn't too cold, so the kids didn't have to bundle up a ton, but unfortunately we saw no nature, which might have been the first time we didn't see anything living there.

We got a decent amount of snow on the last day of 2007. Potter and Molly loved having some playtime, trying to build a snow slide, but Caleb wasn't so sure of this whole idea, even with the cool new snow boots that Santa brought him. He'll learn in time from the older kids how much fun it is to sneak up and pummel someone with a snowball or a shovel full of heavy wet snow.
